Does Hire2Retire work with on-premises Active Directory?
Yes. Hire2Retire reaches on-premises Active Directory through an agent installed behind your firewall, which connects outbound to its gateway, or through a point-to-point VPN. Your employee data still passes through its cloud service. ezOnboard’s agent reads HR and writes to Active Directory inside your network.
Isn’t Hire2Retire’s supervised mode the same as a dry run?
Not quite. Supervised mode holds the changes you choose for approval as events arrive, and each approved change is applied. ezOnboard’s dry run plans every change for your whole workforce at once without writing, and safety limits stop a live run that would change too many accounts.
Does employee data leave our network with ezOnboard?
No. The agent reads HR and updates your directory on your network. Our portal configures and monitors it without storing employee personal data.
Can we use ezOnboard and Hire2Retire together?
Yes, as long as only one of them writes to your directory. ezOnboard can take over Active Directory, Entra ID, and Exchange while Hire2Retire keeps opening ITSM tickets or provisioning Google Workspace.
