    Our implementation team turns your mappings and expressions into rules for accounts, OUs, groups, attributes, managers, licenses, and mailboxes, and sets your safety limits. Scripts that only filled gaps, such as creating mailboxes, can retire.

Is Connect to AD hosted or installed on premises?
Installed. It runs on a 64-bit Windows server you provide, stores employee data only there, and connects to the UKG API and your directory. ezOnboard’s agent also runs inside your network, as a Windows service, and our hosted portal configures and monitors it without storing employees’ personal data.
Does Connect to AD create Exchange mailboxes?
Not by itself. Its help center shows how to have it write a mailbox command into an Active Directory attribute for a PowerShell script that you schedule and run separately. ezOnboard creates mailboxes, assigns licenses, and forwards leavers’ mail as part of its own rules.
Can we use ezOnboard and Connect to AD together?
Not on the same accounts. Both create, update, and disable users in Active Directory and Entra ID, so only one should write to your directory. During a move, ezOnboard’s dry run can plan against your accounts while Connect to AD keeps running, and you switch over once the plan matches.
How long does a move from Connect to AD take?
Setup can take as little as one week, depending on coordination between your HR and IT teams. Review a dry run across your workforce before switching over.
